During our shipping process we scan all inventory from the pick sheet into shipping data entry. I like to create a process that using a UDF will track that the item the was scanned into shipping data entry.
Example:
Item A quantity 2 Item A we scan the bar code on the item, it increments the shipping data entry by one and also tracks that that 1 item was scanned.
Using a UDF that is the bar code that was scanned and quantity field will l increment by 1, everything is associated to the sales order number.
The UDF I think would be linked to the Sales order detail.
I'm not sure how i would capture this in history data?
I looking for suggestions on this type of solution.
Bottom line my owner has asked for a QUICK solution to document that our shipping people are packing their orders correctly.
