Looking for WMS to integrate with Sage 100

Hello,

We are a distribution company that is looking to implement a WMS that can integrate with Sage 100. Preferably one that can stand alone as well. We are going through some growing pains and may also be looking to a new ERP in years to come. May be a Sage product or it may not. Here are some of the features we are looking for.

  • Must integrate with SAGE
  • Able to handle multiple locations
  • Locator system  (pick, back stock, pallet locations)
  • Fixed or random bins
  • Cycle count program
  • Integrates with scanners, voice guided picking, etc.
  • Can handle a high SKU environment

Has anyone had a similar project or experience? Does anyone currently use a WMS outside of Sage? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you!

We just implemented ACS Multi-Bin and it works pretty well.

I have an end user who is just going through implementing Accellos. They are a 25+ user wholesale distributor to the home improvement industry.

    - Integrated to Sage

    - Running three warehouses in different states

    - Locator (think so but they can tell better)

    - Fixed or random bins

    - Cycle count

    - Scanners, etc

    - High SKU - I believe so

[email protected]  can give you a contact name to speak with if you email her.

The site is also using Starship Sage CRM and some scripting (both related to Accellos and not)

    Hi TJ9000

did you ever implement your WMS system?  I am curious what you decided in.  We are now running into the same issue.

    would appreciate your input

    Hi,

We ended using ACS and Scanco. Mostly to minimize the learning curve of our users being that ACS works directly inside Sage 100 just like another module. ACS MultiBin has handled our needs well and Ron at ACS is always very helpful. As with any WMS, it is only as good as the data you put in it.

The Scanco product is good as long as you don't have too many handheld in use, we ran into various performance issues once we hit about 75 handhelds. Scanco was helpful with finding some workarounds as that number grew to over 100. The main issue the users have is it being an Ipod in a scan sled, the battery life isn't very good.

We have now outgrown that and Sage 100 and are currently working on an X3 implementation.

    Hope that helps.
    TJ
