Can you Convert from Sage 100 Premium to Advanced. Has anyone ever done this?

Thanks! I already know this. I was hoping maybe someone has created a conversion tool, since Sage does not have one. I checked with a few MD and so far no one has done this.

Check with DSD.  They have an enhancement for this.

This just might save my client.

Read carefully.  It doesn't do system tables... you have to handle all that (UDF's, UDT, users, roles, scripts, VI jobs, tax tables...) manually. 

I am just reading that now......have you used this before? If so any tips or does it work OK.

Quick background........my client bought a Production program specific to their industry and were told it worked with Sage SQL only. 

Now 3 months later they find out they were told the wrong information and need to go back. 

We've used it multiple times, but the hands-on-keyboard work was done by someone else, so I know nothing other than a high-level overview of the extra steps.

Be sure to do a test migration / proper testing.

IMO, SQL / Premium is better in almost every way, and the only real reason to downgrade is the SQL licensing cost (and extra server resources to run it).
