Gmail Oauth Set Up Error

We have a client that is trying to set up OAuth for their Gmail. They are receiving an error when testing: "The Authentication process failed. Status Code 404". Their IT company has set up the email address but it appears they are missing something. Has anyone else run across this error?

I now have two clients with the 404 error. I guess I'll have to open a case with Sage. I can't believe you and I are the only two that have had this issue!

Once MSFT backed off requiring OAUTh for smtp most of my customers kept doing what they’d been doing. I’m not positive but think Gmail has a setting to use “less secure” connections and when it’s on you can use a regular smtp login with Sage.
