What was the best tool you used to learn the ins and outs of Sage as an ERP analyst?

Good afternoon,

What was the best thing you found to help advance your skills and knowledge regarding the inner workings of Sage? I would like to transition into more of an ERP analyst/Manager position and I want to figure out the best ways that some of you have gained your knowledge.

Is there a certain youtube channel that was found useful? did you have a coworker that was able to train you? did you use a consulting service? or did you just get into a test system and seriously start playing around with the different modules?

    The cloud was made to run browser native applications not hosted desktop solutions. If a 100 install needs remote access, setup a RDP connection or two. RDP runs secure over a VPN connection.

The client allows users to connect to their remote apps or to their remote desktops without using an installed remote desktop client.The web client uses the TLS secured port 443 and does not use the RD Gateway to transport traffic, instead relying solely on the remote desktop session host aspect of remote desktop services"

  • Reading the Sage knowledgebase, attending Sage University courses ( many have great study guides), ready the best discussion forums regularly. It's like anything - if you are not working regularly with it then it's tough to get better.
