GL Transaction Report

SUGGESTED

I cannot get to the Sage Intelligence Reporting.  When I click on Report Viewer, it asks for a network repository, and I select a folder but it just keeps asking for the network repository path.  My question is 1) How do I get passed this, or 2) Is there a different report I can access that has GL transaction data?

Thanks

Before you can access SI the repository has to be set, and registered.  Contact whoever administers your Sage 100 to deal with these steps (and possibly your Sage Partner if you need help with the registration).

    Hi Matthew,

Kevin is correct. It's not quite clear if you have set up Sage Intelligence already and if not, your Sage Partner would be able to help you or your administrator can look in the Sage 100 Installation Guide to set it up.

When you have Sage Intelligence set up you should see the Report Manager and, if purchased, the Viewer.  The Report Manager is what you will use to run the standard reports or create and run a report. The GL Transaction Detail Report can be run from the Report Manager or the Viewer. The Viewer enables you to run reports without saving any edits, however, you need to have purchased the license for the Viewer.  Your Sage Partner can tell you if you have purchased it or not.

This document does not explain how to set Sage Intelligence up but it describes Sage Intelligence in more detail.  Sage Intelligence Getting Started Guide  it comes from our website www.sageintellligence.com/learning

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you, Sandra.

Hi, Instead of clicking the browse folder button, enter the Report Repository folder in a UNC format.  (UNC format is required)

    \\servername\sharename\folder

    i.e. \\JohnsLaptop\C$\Sage\2020\Sage 100 Standard\MAS90\Repository
