I'm confused - the ACH file created by Sage IS in the standard NACHA format.  Are you using the Generate ACH File, or are you manually creating this ACH file?

Hi - I agree with Beth.  There are some settings that banks require specific to their requirements.  Often header related but also end of file settings etc.  There are options in Sage 100 setup for the file that gets generated in the Payroll module.  Look at the Direct Deposit, Direct Deposit Maintenance menu.  There are multiple tabs where choices can be made for the NACHA file depending on your bank's requirements.

One file type you can't get from Sage is IAT (International ACH Transaction), which is a problem when you are paying to an international financial institution, or if there is multi-currency involved.  (Most common for us is Canadian bank to US bank, or US bank to Canadian bank). 

Normal NACHA transactions are for within the US banking system only.

Banks have specific programs where you upload a file and they mail out or ACH out the payments and they have very specific file layouts.  The one helped on was for Bank of America

Banks have their own formats for other things (like Positive Pay), but the whole idea of NACHA is to have one format for standard ACH transactions.

I've seen custom formats for check printing services, IAT (International ACH Transactions), Positive Pay, Canadian EFT (where each bank does have their own format)... but not for USD NACHA.

Yes, Bank of America has something called CashPro.  CashPro is a complete digital platform for payments, receipts, liquidity, investments, FX and trade. It has it's own file structure that the customer uses to upload payment information.

OK, that makes sense: a custom service with that bank. We've seen that kind of thing too but "NACHA" is a fixed format.

Thank you for all of your replies, from what I am reading Sage is putting out the right file. I may need to now go to our bank and ask why they are rejecting it. Thank you!
