In Common Information > Main > Bank Code Maintenance, use the lookup to pull up the Bank Code.  Is there an account number in the Cash Account Number field?  If not, then any Daily Transaction Registers would have been posting out of balance.  Also is AP and AR integrated with General Ledger?
