Client running Frirebird version has issues with inactivity timeouts. \
The IT person has logged onto the server and run TSAdmin as an administrator.They have confirmed the database is set to ‘never time out’. After running ‘Diagnose this computer’ from a standard user account, it shows the ‘Firebird Server – SageTimeslips’ service is not running. Opening services in Windows shows otherwise (service is running). If they log into an admin account on the workstation and run ‘Diagnose this computer’, it shows the service as running.
They are wondering if there permissions that are required for standard user accounts to see/verify services? I have suggested they make sure network adapters have power management turned off but wonder if there are other suggestions ?
