Concur Travel and Expenses software

Does anyone have any experience working with Concur Travel and Expenses software?  Has anyone looked at integrating the Concur product with Sage 300 CRE?

We have been using Concur for a couple years but unforntunately we have not been able to integrate Concur with Sage 300 CRE. I have checked with Concur on numerous occasions and they said they were working on a connector but were not finished. I heard that almost a year ago. They can build a custom connector but it was in excess of $10K to have done so we held off. If you find anything out on how to integrate this please let me know!

Did you find a solution to mash Concur data into Sage CRE?

    Hello Jim,

Yes I did. I did not get a custom connector built but I did get them to build me a custom extract file that I can download from Concur and import into Job Cost. In order to get a couple fields I wanted to have in the export, I upgraded from Standard to Professional. I still have to maintain the jobs and cost code list anytime we make changes in Sage but it is fairly easy to do if you build the jobs and cost codes into a spreadsheet that you can easily upload into Concur to update the jobs and cost codes.

    Adam,

Thanks for your responses above. We are about to do some additional Concur > Sage integrations. Quick question, why are you not using the "Sage Connector" in the Concur App Store > https://www.concur.com/app-center/listings/5637cfd17a1d8e12006e0a4b ? Wasn't available at the time? Cost? Didn't work as expected?

Have you tried using Office Connector Import - AP Invoices with the File that Concur creates?

Sorry for the delay in answering your question. The Sage connector you are referring to is not compatible with Sage 300 CRE. It is for Sage 300 ERP. I spoke with the company who makes this connector years ago and they did not support Sage 300 CRE. My guess is they still don't as it does not say on the app info page. The product name tends to be confusing when trying to figure out what integrations are available. There are 3 Sage 300 products. Sage 300 CRE, Sage 300 ERP, and Sage 300 X3. When I talk to someone about integration, I always say Sage 300 CRE, formally Timberline. The custom extract I did was a direct import into job cost. All GL credit entries went to one GL which we used to offset in AP when the credit card statement comes in. This was the easiest way to do it when I spoke to Concur. It sure would be nice to have a fully functional connector. Maybe when Sage 300 CRE moves to SQL, it may make it easier for companies to create connectors. The pervasive database and limited ODBC connections seems to always be the issue when talking to other companies about integrations.

    Dennis,

I had a demo of what they have related to Sage last week.  Here is the link.

    ryvit.com/.../sage_30

the short answer is no integration, but they (Ryvit) offer services the end users can pay for to build it.  I have two clients that have either built there own or had concur partners build it.

Bill, check out our website for Sage 300 Integration with Concur Field Expenses and Invoicing:

    https://pelicandesignconsulting.com/concur-sage-300-tool

We have about a dozen Sage 300 clients importing SAP Concur Field Expenses and also Invoices into both Accounts Payable Invoices and Job Cost Direct Costs.

Our Import templates harness Sage Office Connector Import.  They work with any CSV type grid of data, not just Concur data.  We also have created upload files to send Sage data back to Concur, including Vendor Lists, Job/Extra/Cost Code/Category Codes, Invoice Payment Data and more.

We tried but all options are either not feasible or very expensive. We finally switched to Gorilla Expense which has integration into Payables
