I suspect the 2.0 you are referencing is the Desktop version, not the actual version of Timberline Office, now Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate.

If you open a full application module like Accounts Payable, then go to Help>About [Application] you will see the true version that you are on. I would guess you will 9.7 or 9.8. You should also be able to tell if you look at the version in Windows Control Panel>Programs and Features. As of 9.8 there has been no CDs shipped. The images have been made available through a download.

You can go to the knowledgebase (https://support.na.sage.com) and may need to login to access the content (some content is currently open). There is an article Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate Upgrade Paths (Article: 23783) athough currently anything 9.7 or higher can upgrade to the current version.
