Job paid by general contractor

We have a job with invoices and labor paid but the boss wants to pay for this job from his retained earnings. Any idea on how to make the books look right?

AP writes your boss a check as a distribution of earnings or a dividend. Then have your boss write a check to the company for the invoices.

Write off/adjust the AR invoices in the AR module, crediting AR and debiting the retained earning account.
