I have loaded Sage 50 2020 yesterday but the system tells me Sage 50 cannot be started. Not a very good start to this new upgrade. Anyone have any ideas? I've booted my computer 4-5 times as per its suggestion
Hi SWEXP1, a common cause for that error right after upgrading to version 2020 is if the Actian PSQL v13 Workgroup R2 engine did not install correctly. Try running the RecreateSystemDBs.bat file found in C:\ProgramData\Actian\PSQL (Note: ProgramData is a hidden folder). That usually does the trick, but you might need to reinstall the Actian Database Engine if not. We've got a great article on the SageKB that goes over those steps in more detail, which you can find here: http://1sa.ge/9PV830pRfUI . I hope that helps!
