Sage 100: Sage 100 Payroll ending support for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 at the end of March 2020.

Sage 100 Payroll ending support for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 at the end of March 2020. Sage 100 Payroll upgrade to version 2.19.0 or higher is required.

For security compliance, Sage will be shutting down TLS 1.0 and 1.1 for all *.sage.com public endpoints, which includes the spa.na.sage.com used by Sage 100 Payroll to calculate taxes.

Sage 100 Payroll users are required to be running Sage 100 Payroll versions 2.19.0 or higher after March 2020.  For Compliance and security purposes, Sage 100 Payroll users are always encouraged to be running the most current version.

Special note for Windows 7, Server 2008 R2, and Small Business Server 2011 users:

Extended Support from Microsoft for Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows Small Business Server 2011 ended on January 14, 2020.  These operating systems are no longer supported by Sage 100.

Windows 10 and newer operating systems natively support TLS 1.2.  Windows 7 does not.  For more information regarding this and how to enable TLS 1.2 on Windows 7 refer to the following Microsoft article:
