Sage X3

Brandon Gabert is Information Systems Manager for Guardian Chemcials Inc, a chemical manufacturer in Western Canada and was the onsite lead for implementing Sage X3.

When asked to oversee the implementation, Brandon had a computer background but no accounting experience. Undeterred, he took night classes to get up to speed while the project was being executed. A real challenge to juggle both the implementation and school, he credits the support of his wife, Kerri, with helping him do it—an accomplishment that gave him the same appreciation and passion for accounting as he’s always had for computers.

In the years following the implementation, Brandon continued to improve the company’s processes by taking advantage of the high configurability of Sage X3 as a problem-solving tool as well as taking additional accounting courses.

Brandon relocated to Houston, Texas, where he joined NexTec Group as a Sage Certified X3 consultant but has since returned to Canada and rejoined Guardian Chemicals in March 2017.  In his free time, Brandon enjoys being a tech enthusiast, flying RC planes and spending time with his wife and their two small children, Lucas and Lauren.

Joe graduated with a major in Information Systems from Marietta College and began working for Cleveland, Ohio, manufacturer, Garland Industries managing their Sage X3 implementation.  Having been live on Sage X3 since 2005, Joe has worked on multiple projects and modifications—all with no previous experience using Sage applications.  As a result, Joe quickly acclimated himself to Sage X3 and has since written many custom SAP Crystal Reports and system modifications to help improve day-to-day business processes as well as making the system work more efficiently for Garland Industries and its subsidiaries. In his free time, Joe likes to spend time with family and friends, take his dog on long walks, and hangout at the beach.

"SiobhanF2002"

Known in Sage City as “SiobhanF2002,” Siobhan Finders started her career with an electronics manufacturing company and has been in the technology sector ever since.  A product manager at Sage for over 15 years, Siobhan worked closely with the research and development, as well as marketing and sales teams of many solutions, including Sage PFW, Sage Pro, Sage BusinessWorks, Sage BusinessVision, and Sage Inventory Advisor—giving her a wide-breadth of experience solving for an array of customer needs. In recent years, Siobhan joined SWK Technologies—a Sage Authorized Partner—as a Senior Product Manager where she enjoys working through challenging situations. An excellent communicator and natural analytical thinker, she spends her time working to understand EDI processes and documents, and the ways customers use them, in order to provide a better experience,

A California native, Siobhan now resides in Texas with her husband and three Dachshunds (Scout, Ollie, and Greta) where she enjoys reading and a nice dinner out.
