Have you checked the promotion company name is not already one that exists in Sage 300. Have you tried to check the logs in CRM as well as the logs that get created in Sage 300?

You hint that the problem is with the user.  Can they promote any other companies?  What happens if another user tries to promote the problem company?

Conrad - I am not sure I know what you mean regarding checking the logs in CRM.  The error only occurs with one particular user when attempting to promote a prospect customer to a customer in Sage 300.  The error states that the account already exists Sage 300 when in fact it does not.  We confirm the next availalbe Sage 300 customer number prior to promoting the prospect in CRM.  I have checked the users credentials in CRM and they are the same as mine and another employee's that are able to promote.  The only access in Sage 300 that this user doesn't have is legers which should not have anything to do with promoting into Sage 300.

Guy - No they cannot promote any prospects.  We have created a few to test this and this user continually gets the error.
