Unable to export/print reports when using Chrome, Chromium or Edge to launch Web Screens by itself or through CRM Integration

Some users were experiencing issues in printing/exporting using Chrome.  There were also issues with launching web screens, either in the browser or through CRM integration.


The following browser versions may not be able to export/print reports in Web Screens standalone or through CRM Integration:

  • Chrome - v83.0.4103.61
  • Edge - v84.0.516.1


Solution

Sage 300

A hotfix is available for version 2018, 2019, and 2020.

  1. Download or request the hotfix from your regional Sage office or Business Partner, based on what version and product update you are on.
  2. To ensure your downloaded hotfix file installs properly, perform the following steps to unblock it:
    1. Right-click on downloaded hotfix file.
    2. Select Properties.
    3. In the General tab, check/select the box beside the word Unblock.
    4. Click on Apply.
    5. Click on Ok.
  3. Unzip the file and open 'HotFixReadme.txt' for instructions on how to apply the hotfix.

CRM Integration

A hotfix is available for CRM Integation with version 2019 and 2020.

  1. Download or request the hotfix from your regional Sage office or Sage Business partner, based on the version of your CRM Integration.
  2. To ensure your downloaded hotfix file installs properly, perform the following steps to unblock it:
    1. Right-click on downloaded hotfix file.
    2. Select Properties.
    3. In the General tab, check/select the box beside the word Unblock.
    4. Click on Apply.
    5. Click on Ok.
  3. Unzip the file and open 'CRM_HotFixReadme.txt' for instructions on how to apply the hotfix.

NOTE:

  • See Sage 300 Product Updates Downloads to ensure you are on the latest product update before applying the hotfix for Sage 300.
