"Statutory auditor" in the Audit report

Is there any way to remove "& statutory auditor" from the signatory section of the audit report?

    Hi Tony,

Unfortunately, there is not currently a way to remove "& statutory auditor" from this section. There is an option to override the "statutory auditor" description using "SeniorStatutoryAuditorH" Heading override which can be found in 'Headings  > Auditors Report' section. However, this will only allow you to change 'statutory auditor' to something else, and will not remove the "&" sign.

If you were to export to word to print / send the accounts, you could manually edit this line, however this won't be saved in the software and on submission to HMRC or Companies House.

However, we are continuously looking for improvements and suggestions, and I will pass this on as a request to the Product Owner to add to the prioritised backlog of work for investigation.

    Thankyou,

    Hi Tony,

Just to make you aware if you aren't already, we have implemented a fix for this in the new Sage Accounts Production Advanced v 2021 release. You can now override "Chartered accountants & statutory auditor" as a whole by populating the heading 'QualificationAndStatutoryAuditor'.

We hope this solves your problem. If you have any further feedback, please do get in touch.

    Thankyou,

    Caitlin
