I am trying to do my 1st payroll run and I have done the download of Ros Cert and have a the employees details in except for the PAYE details as I presume Sage takes these from ROSshows no .

When I proceed, it  shows no PAYE details and my employees are been taxed very high, all employee are new and ceased employment from other employer.

can you help ?

    Thanks for using Sage City.

    You need to ensure that the correct PPS number and PRSI code are in each employee record.

    To check and update any employee’s record:

    1. On the menu bar, click Processing then click Employee Details.
    2. Next to the Surname box, click browse  and click the relevant employee.

    As long as the employee is registered for PAYE and has a PPS number, you can use the option to Retrieve Revenue Payroll Notifications (RPNs), to request RPN details for them.
