Closing Sage downloading offline data recommendations

I am closing my old Sole Trading company and want to download some data that would allow searching of transactions and possibly customer sales and purchase invoices. 

My accounts are complete and its just basically to have a reference copy that is some way searchable.

What is recommended and what have others done in this case.

I know from talking to Sage support your data is kept anyway for 7 years and can be reactivated again however I just want pdf's or csv's of transaction history that may be useful?

Advice appreciated.

I am still a Sage Business Cloud customer in my Ltd company I just see no point in paying 27plus VAT every month on a 2nd closed entity.
