Are sales orders available on Sage Accounting

SOLVED

I have just set up one of my clients with a months trial on Sage Business Cloud Accounting Plus as they currently use Sage 50 Proffesional, which is now up at nearly £200 a month and the only reason they need that level of subscription is for the Sales Orders.

The online videos show setting up Sales Orders in the cloud accounting yet when I logged them into the package there is no Sales Order option.

Which is correct  Sales Order Processing is available or not?

    Hi Pamela,

Sales Orders as they are in Sage 50 are not available. You have Quotes & Estimates which can be created and then converted into an Invoice.

Sage Accounting doesn't have the level of stock functionality that Sage 50 has, so if your client requires the ability monitor stock movements by creating purchase orders, receive in stock and then allocate this stock to a sales order, and then finally produce a customer invoice then they can't do this.

However, if they just want to be able to raise a quote, and then convert this to an invoice then that is possible in Accounting.

    Kind regards,

    Tim
