Postpone / Opt Out

Question

We have an employee that started recently, I postponed his pension auto-enrolment for 3 months, and in that time he has said he would like to opt out. However, when I go on his record in the pension assessment the option to Opt-out/Leave is greyed out. 
 Is there a way to opt him out of the pension before his postponement ends?

Hi Verity,

Thanks for using Sage City.

Following the postponement that option will remain greyed out for the 3 months because they can't be enrolled until the postponement expires.

After the three months have elapsed the employee must be assessed. If they are enrolled at that point, the employee can contact the pension provider to agree an opt out. You can then process this in Sage Payroll once it is agreed.
