Employee leaving

Question

I have an employee who did not come back after Easter break and has since left our company, as I am doing year end it asks me to enter leaving employees but if i enter the date as 28/03/2024, will I still be able to do his wages for 24/04/2024 ( 24th of each month is our pay day) in the new tax year as he is still due one months pay plus holiday pay

 Thanks for using Community Hub 
 As you're paying the leaver after year end, you don't need to process them as a leaver yet. Instead, process their final pay as part of the 24/4 pay run, then mark the employee as a leaver with the 28/3 leave date. To print the P45 you'll need to pop the process date back into the 23/24 tax year.
