The recommended maximum number of projects for Sage 50 Accounts is 2000. This is just a guideline to help maximise performance but 11,658 projects is significantly above that level and speed may be improved by removing some of those projects.

The reports will also take longer if they are run for more than one project record at a time so you will also see speed improvements if you run for single projects rather than multiple records, presuming you are running for multiple projects currently.
