In the first instance I'd check the period of the Reconciliation against the period of the Trial Balance to make sure they're both looking at the same date range, different date ranges may cause differences in the brought forward balances.

It's worth running the check data routine just to make sure there is no corruption in the data, but the TB and the reconciled balance will not necessarily always match depending upon how the reports are run.

I am looking at the same date range and I don't have any corrupt data.  Is there a helpline that can possibly look at my problem?
