The Profit and Loss report uses the Chart of Accounts to organise its nominal code values, when you run the report, check the criteria to make sure the right chart of accounts is selected and the right date range.

You've posted this in the Year end forum, have you just run your year end? If you have the profit and loss nominal codes will have been cleared down as part of that process, are there definitely transactions in the new financial year that the profit and loss can pick up?
