Corrupted Data

Hi all,

Im having a problem with my Datafile for the last few days.    The data keeps corrupting and creating errors.

I can restore the data from a couple of days ago, check  it and there are no errors.  Then I work as normal, and when I go to do a backup it tells me its corrupted again.

I'm using the newest version of the software. 

However the error message (see below) is from a transaction that i've worked on, its something from ages ago.   

Any suggestions of what I can do????

    Hi Paul, 

    Thanks for using Sage City. When you restore the error free backup, do you immediately check it for errors? It would be worth doing that to see if there is any underlying corruption. 

    Is any of the data imported at all? Either through a CSV or 3rd party software? Or is it all manually entered? I'm wondering if the corruption is being brought into Sage somehow, rather than being created.

    I'll keep an eye out for your reply to see if I can help further.

    Many thanks for the response.  I did actually manage to fix this by finding some instructions on your website re corrupted data.  Seems to have been a one off so hopefully all good!
