V28 Upgrade Lost Data

Has anyone experienced any data loss in upgrading their Sage 50 cloud Accounts to V28?  We run a multi user, multi company license and have experienced in three of our companies that we had lost data.  Two companies was approximately a weeks worth but another we lost 5 months of data input and a year end process.  

We have restored to a back up taken before the upgrade but this seems very strange that this has happened.  Can anyone assist so that this doesn't happen again?

    Thanks for using Sage City.

     When data is lost during an upgrade, this points towards corruption in the data, or if you use Remote Data Access (formally known as Sage Drive) a user was potentially working offline prior to the upgrade.

    If a user is working offline, upgrading the program will then prompt them to reconnect to the data which can cause the data on that machine to be overrode/override the other machines.

     Before upgrading your data, we would recommend to check your data for any errors and resolve those before completing the upgrade, as well as taking a backup.

    NOTE: You can also setup scheduled backups in your program to run daily at intervals, which I’d advise to enable if not already done so.
