SAGE 50 Accounts integration with Microsoft 365

We have run into a problem with integration. 

We have updated Sage to V27 with the hope to be able to use Microsoft integration and new features.

But Sage require full access to the MS Admin account, which is not possible for security reasons as all data is stored on a shared drive, and customer support is not able to help us to find a solution to this. Is it possible to allocate what areas sage has access to and what actions?

Our system is run on Windows server 2016 with a Microsoft subscription.

    Thanks for using Sage City.

    Apologies for the delay in responding to you. I have verified that the Sage application would require full access to your Office 365 Admin Account in order to function properly. It is not possible to selected reduced permissions I'm afraid.
