Auto entry Feedback

I just wanted to share our views on the Auto entry software, we were supposed to trial this for three months but after struggling with it for two months we had enough.  For us it was the accuracy that was the problem, these are the some of the issues we had.

-it was inconsistent in the way that it pulled through some of the company names, so kept on pulling certain ones through wrongly.

-it kept losing the supplier payment terms and we have lots of different ones so it was an issue for us to keep on putting them back in and this was every day.

-it misread a few of the dates and brought invoices through dated 2003 for no reason at all.

- it misread the vat and didn't pull it through a few times.

- the helpline was so slow and didn't solve any of the above issues that we were having, so that we felt it was a waste of time to continue.

- any time saved was outweighed by the amount of checking we had to do on each entry.

We were hoping this was going to help us as we were getting busy and cut our workload a bit so its disappointing, maybe in a few years this will be improved but for now we did not feel that it was right for our company.
