'Unknown string' issue when backing up

Hi,

One of our clients has an issue where Sage 50 is displaying a message saying 'Unknown string' when running a backup - it seems to be when backing up the stkshort.report file

Error checking reports no problems.

Could this be a corrupted report file and we just need to remove / replace it to get the backup working?

Or is there a better way of fixing this?

    Sorry for the delayed reply to your message. 

    When your client is taking a backup, are all files being included in the backup? If you only select 'Data Files' does the backup go through successfully or does it give the same (or a similar) error?
