t4 and t8 codes

Doing my VAT for the first time VIA Sage line 50 and have a problem with T4 and T8 not showing up on the return

I have checked all boxes and everything seems to be correct. has any one else had this problem

Have you checked the Tax Codes within Settings/Configuration? If you "Edit" a tax code you can elect to include it in the VAT return.

Yes I have done that and a ticked to include in vat return but still not showing

Hi.

Thanks for using Sage City.

If you make sure the tax codes are set up correctly as Anita mentioned. The following guide will show you how they're supposed to be set up: 11217

Can you also confirm, if you calculate a VAT return > click on box 8, is T4 listed there? If you do the same for box 9 and see if T8 is listed.

Hi

Yes every thing is set is as per the guide and both codes are showing up in the in box 8 and 9 transactions have been reconciled but not showing up on the returns, I total mystery as to why they are not appearing
