Do filters stay turned on indefinitely (after you log out, etc) until you remove them? | Yes, if you just toggle the filter on and off via the funnel icon next to Filter, the filter still remains in the Filter window. I find the best way to ensure a filter is removed after use is to select Clear Form within the filter window and then click Apply. | Open the Filters article |
If I make accounts inactive, will the be inactive for my colleagues too or just my computer? | As these changes have been made to the company data, your colleagues will also see this too. | Open the inactive record article |
Is there an option to delete a very old supplier/customer record? | They can only be deleted if they have no activity remaining. How can I filter the active projects please? I can do inactive but not active. | This is possible by applying a filter in Projects. Use the filter: Where > Status number > Is equal to > 1- Active | N/A |
Within Invoices and credits the fields for selection don't agree to the column headings and the filters don't seem to work. | Yes some of the headings don't seem to match, for example "no." would be "invoice number" within the filter. Ensure before applying a filter that all prior filters have been removed by checking it says 'all record's at the top. | N/A |
How can l check invoices that have not been paid, eg l want to check who didn't clear an invoice yesterday? | Your aged debtors report detailed would be the best report for this. This is within the customer module and within reports | Open the aged debt article |
It is possible to search for either the Product Type Customer Invoices or the Service Type Customer Invoices? | Yes, apply the filter: Where > Inovice type code > Is equal to > in the value field you will then be able to select which invoice type you require to show or hide. i.e. 0 - product invoice or 2 - service invoice etc. | N/A |
Is it possible to filter to identify unpaid invoices? | Not from the Invoices and credits module. You would be able to find unpaid invoices by running the Aged Debtors report detailed. | Open the aged debt article |
How did you highlight all the customers to run the batch option? | You have a couple of options. To select a range of customer records, select the first customer then hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard and select the last customer. To select customers not in a range use the CTRL key between selections instead. | N//A |
