Unfortunately I disagree as the sales invoice in the invoicing module creates a sales order with a different order type, that contains the analysis codes at a header level, you simply need to expose these to the invoice header & in turn expose these to the invoicing desktop list. I know this is possible as I have created a customised invoicing desktop list that exposes this information & also allows access to the corresponding analysis code values on the order header. Surely as a Sage developer if I can create this then so can Sage and make it standard in the product as you have in theory greater developer knowledge? 

Thank you for your feedback.  Within Enter New Invoice if you enter the line of detail and then select Edit an Analysis Code button appears on the Edit Invoice Item form.   On the Delivery & Invoicing tab you can see the details on the Invoice taken by.  It would not be possible to have to analysis codes displayed on the Invoicing desktop list as these apply to the individual lines.
