SUGGESTED

Hi all,

after upgrading from sage 2017 to 2019, I have problem creating new company as in image below. What could be the problem and how to solve it? Thank you.

The InsertSYSCurrency.sql script creates the basic GBP, EUR and USD currencies with ID's 1,2,3. So if this script is failing, it's most likely that the SYSCurrency table already has these entries, or the SYSCurrencyISOCode table hasn't been populated.

When this sort if thing happens, put a trace on the SQL Server using either SQL Profiler, Express Profiler  or similar. Invaluable for seeing what's going on behind the scenes.

Error creating new company after upgrade from version 2017 to version 2019

    Sage 200 System Administration

Failed to run SQL script ‘InsertSYSCurrency’ against company dataset ‘FFLS’.

Please retry the operation and if the problem persists contact your support provider.

This is not a known issue from previous cases, but the suggestion from the other member would be useful to investigate.
If your SQL trace does not reveal anything, please log this with the accredited Sage Business Partner.
