I know an account will automatically go onto hold/stop if over credit limit, if set to do so
How about when they go beyond credit terms?

Currently there doesn't seem a way for sales account not to be extended further credit so long as they are below the set limit Or am I wrong?

It seems to be a manual process right now, & I assume an automated feature placing accounts on hold/stop of flagging possible credit extension would be of benefit across many users
