Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded to the latest 2019 BusinessVision from an earlier version.

I understood the 2019 has a built in 5-user license.

I had the 5 user LAN pack with the old version.

When I upgraded, I expected to see 10 user because the standard comes in with 5 users built in + the 5 users lan pack = 10.

Am I wrong on this?

Also, we only have 3 users working in 4 different business databases, meaning at least 4 instances of BusinessVision at the same time for each user (3users x 4dbs).

When we were up to approximately 6 or 7 instances, we were getting the maximum user warning and couldn't initiate more instances.

There are never more than 3 users per database, and we should be good for 5 (or I thought 10).

Is the license pack based on open instances or on how many users logged in?

I'm confused how the license works.

Can someone explain?
