I am trying to determine if there is a way to set up for these new guidelines that would make the calculation for me. Is this possible? How do people in other provinces work this system?

Hi, I am not familiar with Alberta's Stat Holiday Pay, however if it is hourly based then set-up a new category in Payroll for Stats similar to regular wages or wages at time and a half.

Yes, that is what I mean. I was just trying to figure out if there is a way to set this up in Sage without having to do the manual calculation each time there is a stat.

you will need to track hours worked by day because 4 weeks * 5 days * 8 hours * 5% = 8 hours, so if a day is not worked it would be 152 * 5% = 7.60 hours
sage payroll will calculate the vacation pay like always
