Im trying to open an existing company with sage 50 2015 from a simply 2008 file. I have all the right files and can still open it with the simply 2008 program. When I try to open it with the 2015 program the file does all the conversions it need to then an error message pops up saying unable to open company file. I have tried to turn off my firewall to see if that would help seeing it has been an issue before and it is a no go. I am running windows 8.1. Is there something I am missing, possibly a program or update? Any help?
