How To Register And Activate Old Simply Acctg Basic 2007

Hello.

QUESTION:  How do you register and activate--brand new, never used copy of--Simply Acctg Basic 2007 now (Dec2013)?


SITUATION:  One of my small business clients has been loyally using the Basic 2004 version for years.  Five years ago, in early 2007, they purchased the Basic 2007 version, put it in a file drawer and then forgot about it!  Now (Dec2013) they would like to "upgrade" to this brand new unused version, primarily because of recurring problems now with the Crystal Report designer of the 2004 version.


I installed the Basic 2007 version on a different computer, and then tried to "register" when prompted by the software.  That's when things got frustrating.  There does not seem to be a way to register and activate this older (but unused) version.  Is my client out of luck?

    Sage 50 (formerly knowas as Simply Accounting) 2007 is considerd as an obsolete software that is no longer supported.  For activation, you can have your client contact our service department by 1-888-222-8985 to see if they can still retrieve the software activation information like serial # and key codes for your client.
