From this error it would appear as though you changed the path where the files are to be located. In the path you entered an invalid character. I cannot see the path as you entered it so cannot be more specific.\

Cancel the installation and start over. Let the program install in the location (Path) where it wants to install and you should be OK. It would appear that 16.2 is still a student edition and that should be sufficient for your student work. 

I can't get to the Knowledgebase today but I believe that error indicates you are trying to install while your Windows Regional Settings are setup in one of the Asian languages.  Change it to English, do the install and then change it back and you should be ok, if I recall the article properly.
