Hello, I recently started a new year 2022.  When I went back into this company I've noticed that the session date is now 01/01/23. I did not change the year to 2023 can anyone tell me if I am able to change this?

I had a call about this same issue last week.  My recommendation was to go back to the backup taken before moving forward to the new year and restore it, then transition to the new year again.

One caveat, before you restore your files, move the files that currently exist to a different location so you restore to a folder that has no *.sai or *.saj folder.  If you don't move the files, the restored file will likely not open properly.

I was told the client who called opened the file and changed the session date to the first day of the year on the initial session date dialog.  Many people are unaware that this triggers the transition to the new fiscal year.  Then the person went to the Maintenance Menu and selected Start New Year and this put them into 2023.

I always open the file with the session date on the last day of the year.  I take my backup needed before moving to a new fiscal year then go to Maintenance, Start New Year.  I never transition to a new fiscal year with the opening session date dialog.
