Are there any entries that have been made to the balance sheet? If nothing has been entered nothing will show up!

The statement showed up after left it open like that for 8 hours.   most of the statements are fine. just sometimes balance sheet or income statement, sometimes both. 

I have tried restarting the computer, and save to another copy. didn't change anything. 

when I take the computer home, the statement would render, and when I get to work, the statement won't render again. 

the only thing I can think of is different is the network. even that, at work we connect to shaw, and i connect to shaw at home as well. 

the report should render without internet. the internet shouldn't be an issue. 

the report rendered ok in the past two years at work. 

anyone have any suggestions? 

this is weird. during the day, I cannot open the chart of accounts, cannot open the income-statement, cannot open the balance sheet. 

but those windows would open once I am home in the evenings. either connect to the internet or disconnect from the internet. So it has nothing to do with the internet.  would it has anything to do with the system time? 

This problem is repeating for 3 days. window won't open during the day and would open during the evenings. 

Does anyone have any idea? the board meeting is coming up soon. I will need to print the reports at work. It would look so bad if the reports won't open when I need them. .....

It sounds like your window positions are getting messed up.  This happens if you use different monitors between different locations and I believe, if you don't run your windows maximised.

The quick solution on a window-by-window basis is to run the report then immediately hit Alt-Spacebar, then M when the menu pops up.  If the menu shows up at the top right of the screen, then hit the down arrow multiple times and the left arrow multiple times until the window shows up on screen again, then hit Enter.  If the menu shows at the bottom left, then use the up and right arrow keys.

You can also use the Sage_SA_dbutil.exe program in the program's installation directory to Clear Window positions.  Just don't use the keyboard to select the buttons in the program, use the mouse.

you are right. it is due to multiple monitors. 

found the solution. right-click on the window and maximize.
