There is no data to report

SOLVED

Noticed a double entry on my bank reconciliation screen.  Got back to the entry and deleted it.  The double entry remains on the reconciliation screen.  When I double click it opens to the Journal entry.  Double clicking on that gives me 'no Data to report'.  I can't get the entry to disappear off the reconciliation screen as I thought it would.  What did I do and how do I dispose of the entry now?

Thx

Now that you have edited, there should be the same dollar amount on both sides Deposit and Withdrawal.  There should also already be checkmarks in the Cleared column and notes indicating Reversed and Adjustment in the final column to the right.

If not, look for both entries and click off both and you will no longer see them once you post the reconcilation.

No Data to report usually means that.  However, if you click on the menu Modify Options, you might see Include Corrections and then you might see two entries.  See the Comment column to see what journal entry is being adjusted.

Thank you.  And one more.  I just reconciled and posted January - which I now realize has incorrect postings.  I need to cancel that reconciliation and open up January to fix some mistakes there.  How?

    I appreciate your help!

    I have the same issue:

if the entry comments is ABC and amount is $100, unresolved is $500 if i change the comments to BCD, amount still $100, this time unresolved would be $600

The double entry remains on the reconciliation screen.  When I double click it opens to the Journal entry.  Double clicking on that gives me 'no Data to report'.
