  • This update crashed my entire system. And at year-end too!  I am not impressed.  Now I can't even get through to Sage for assistance.

    Hello Wade, are you unable to open Sage 50 after installing the update? Or is there something else going on?

    It will not let me log in. It has changed all of the login information.

    I called on June 30 to get this rectified; Tina was unable to help me so put me through to a different department.  I stayed on hold until 6:10 without any help before I was forced to leave. I am attempting to close off my year-end and cannot do anything since I can't log in.  Please get someone to contact me to revert this horrid update.

  • The latest update locked our main database.  Tried to call Sage but the lines are full and I was told to call back then it hung up. Not happy at all.

  • I'm beyond frustrated with support. I've tried chat three times and called countless times to only be disconnected or hung up on. I've tried everything to update from 2019.4 to 2020.2 but despite all efforts from what Sage chat could suggest, what my IT could suggest and what I could find online, I still get an error "Unable to open the company file". My office is at a standstill because this update cannot be completed and I cannot get anyone at Sage to help.

    No one has contacted me back yet, so no solution yet.  I would think that they would test an update before releasing it.

    Quite agree.  Their Q&A department obviously did not do a thorough job.  We are now unable to do anything without a fix.

  • We are experiencing high call volumes due to year end, our peak season. So if you are not getting the "leave a phone number for a callback" message, it likely means  that we've hit capacity.  Consider creating an online support ticket by going to: www.sagecity.com/resources selecting your product line and clicking on "submit online case" at that point you'll need a login for https://customers.sagenorthamerica.com/ for customers, ( partners are to use: https://partners.sagenorthamerica.com/ ). Your login will need to be tied to your account ID with a valid support plan.
