Since I posted to the wrong "Bank Account" then I would want to the the following
    ??

Section II: If you want to redo the deposit slip, you will need to reverse and re post the receipts:

    1. Select the Receipts icon from the home window.
    2. Select the Receipt menu, then select Adjust Receipt.
    3. Enter your search criteria, then select OK.
    4. Select the receipt you want to adjust in the Adjust a Receipt window and click Select.
    5. Select the Receipt menu, then Reverse Receipt.
    6. Select Yes in the Confirmation window.
    7. Recreate and post the receipt.
    8. Repeat for all receipts you want to include in the deposit slip that you will later recreate.
    9. Redo the Deposit Slip. The "new" redone receipts should be available again.

you also need section I, where it void the deposit slip, then section 2, allows you to post another slip

    Section I:

Note: If your Deposit To and From accounts are the same, you do not need to reverse the deposit slip since the debit and credit apply to the same account and cancel each other out. If you want to modify the deposit slip so that a cheque is not included, see steps below.

1.Create a backup of your company file, follow Article ID 10390 How do I create a backup using Sage 50 Accounting?, in Related Resources

2.Create a reversing entry in the General Journal (Miscellaneous Transactions). Use the date and amount of your deposit slip, but with the debits and credits reversed to what the To and From accounts used on the slip were.

Enter something in source to identify the transaction. You can also enter a comment to make it easy to identify in the future.

    3.Post or Process the transaction.

The above reverses the deposit slip you posted. The cheques, however, will not be available to select again if you want to redo

Thank you for your help I will follow step one and two.

I have a weird question, how can the program not give me a warning that says something like "You are attempting to deposit TO and FROM the SAME account do you want to proceed??"  I would have caught that what I was about to do was stupid....  The way technology works now, you would think that Sage would be a little more advance than that.  Any reason why?

Also can someone explain to me again WHY we cannot just hit the REVERSE or UNDO button in Deposit Screen???? I still do not understand why it is not an option since Sage tracks down every little things we do, if you tell me its for auditing purpose, I do not understand.

Thanks you, I'm sure someone has an answer that will make sense.

It would be nice if there were ways to reverse things like deposit slips or reconciliations in the case of human error, hopefully that will be added down the line. Unless you really want to see the full deposit detail in your bank account, you can also just post an offsetting journal entry to CREDIT cash to be deposited and DEBIT the bank account to move the deposit amount to the correct account.

I was able to fix it it by following the steps above. It wasnt too bad as technically that account is not really a bank accout its only to hold my cheques until i put them in the bank so it wont mess up my bank rec or anything as I dont do one in there obviously.
    Thanks for all your help.
