Is that possible import Inventory Adjustment qty (Update) using excel back to Sage 50

Is that possible import Inventory Adjustment qty (Update) using excel back to Sage 50.

Since I might have a tons of inventory adjustment to make and if I use the Inventory Adjustment & Transfers function in Sage 50 might takes

a long period of time. If there is a method using Excel or CSV import back to Sage 50 and will override the Qty on-hand that's

will be great. But is that possible ? Or is there any third party software can do it for Sage 50 CA

No.  Not without more trouble than it will be worth to hack it in as a recurring transaction.  And some rounding difficulties when the transaction is recalled.

Use copy / paste items from excel and keying quantities and values is about the fastest way I've found.  Do them in batches of 100 or so, save as recurring and double check with excel sheet before posting.

I haven't seen any third party inventory count software.

    Hi Randy,

Thanks for you information. I have to look into this a little bit more. Just started to learn this software.

What do you mean recurring transaction ?

Sage 50 allows storing most data entry screens as a sort of template, which can be recalled, edited if you like, saved, and recorded.  They can be set up on a schedule or 'random'

Inventory Adjustment entries have this feature.  Unfortunately every line has to have an adjustment (can't be both zero qty and zero $$) so we can't just store a list of all the items, and scroll through putting in the adjustment quantity / amount after a count.
