Exporting Dashboard Reports using the “Create Template” option via Excel

Issue:

What is the function of the “Create Template” option when Exporting Dashboard Reports via Excel?

Resolution:

The "Create template" option is used to run an existing report and can pick which columns from the existing report you want to include or exclude on excel. With this function you have the option to rearrange the columns from the existing report.

 

  • Go to Landing Page
  • Select/Click the desired report
  • Click Excel in the top right corner,
  • Select “Create Template”
  • Run report using the “Create Template” option
  • On the right-hand side of the excel sheet, the titles of your columns will be listed
  • Select the field where you want to have your Column in excel,
  • Then double click the title you require in your report.
  • Do this for all the fields you require
  • Then Click Preview and your data will populate on the excel created.

 

After Creating the new template, you can reuse this Template by using the “Choose Existing Template” option.
