Workflow Notification in EM HR

  • How to set up Notifications for management so they can be notified when a contact is created and when there is any modification to the contract.

 

  • When receiving the notification there has to be a signature or approval to the contract on that notification.

 

  • Contracts once created have to blocked for changes not to be made thereafter and the managers will only be the once to unblock the contracts.

 

  • Leave Report on the balances of each employee.

 

  • On the positions where can one print a report on the Positions and is it possible to block positions as well that are already vacant.

    In regards to the first two bullet points: Notifications and Approvals: 

    Notifications can be set up via the Workflow Function. The Workflow can be created with a Signature Management, to allow for approvals for actions on the contract.

    Please see below navigation to the Workflow and Signature Management functions:

    Module: Setup > Sub-module: Workflow > Functions: Signature Management (GESCEW) and Workflow Rules (GESAWA)

    Setup assistance

    If you require assistance with the setup, please contact the EM HR Support Team at [email protected].

    In regards to 'Blocked Contract' question: 

    To block the contract from modification after creation can be configured through user access.

    Please see below navigation to the Functional Authorisations:

    Module: Setup > Sub-module: Users> Functions: Functional Authorizations (GESAFP)

    Setup assistance:

    Restrict the users capturing the data to Create records only. Please view the below screenshot, within the access you can have Options to Create (C), Modify (M) and Delete (S):

    Please ensure to only allow for the Creation (C) option.

    In regards to 'Leave Report' and "Position Report' question: 

    Kindly note that the required leave and position reports will need to be configured/customized in order to include the specific setup of the particular company.
