Sometimes you find yourself with a disabled Close button on Sales orders. This can be that

1. The order is already closed
2. Customer settings are set not to allow closing of lines.
3. The transaction data is not consistent with controls in the system. Check the source of order.

Resolution

1. Check ORDSTA in table SORDER and SOQSTA in table SORDERQ
2. Review customer settings
3. Expand Common Data, BPs, Customers.
4. Select the Customer which is from a Sales Order where the Close button is disabled.
5. Select the Commercial tab.
6. Check the Allow Order Close box.

      Future orders for this Customer will have the Close button enabled.
